The best game day appetizer chicken quesadilla ring.

The best game day appetizer begins with Miller's flavorful spicy sweet Banana Pepper Sauces. I am 1 of 30 bloggers invited to share innovative ideas in an exclusive recipe challenge hosted by Millerโ€™s Banana Pepper Sauce! Once I opened and tasted all 3 sauces my creative juices began to flow.

Three bottles of pepper sauce.

These pepper sauces have the perfect balance of sweet, spicy and tangy rarely found in a pepper sauce. The bold flavors are delicious and healthy with heat levels that only enhance a dish. The sauces complement each other and can be mixed and matched in any recipe.

Football fans will love this game day bite. It is an easy sweet-and-spicy chicken quesadilla cone with a luscious dipping sauce. This recipe is my second entry in the Game Day/Entertaining Category.

How to make the best game day appetizer chicken quesadilla cones

All the ingredients in the recipe.
Simple ingredients.

How to fold a tortilla cone.

To make this easy recipe start with some chopped leftover cooked chicken. I like to use a store-bought rotisserie chicken. In a bowl, mix the chicken with shredded cheese, sour cream and Miller's Banana pepper sauce. Then, cut soft flour tortillas into half moons and spread with the chicken mixture. Next fold the tortillas over the filling forming a cone or triangle shape.

Spreading pepper sauce on quesadillas.

Place 8 chicken quesadillas on a parchment-lined round baking sheet with points toward the center. Mix the melted butter and Miller's Banana Sauce and brush over the top of each quesadilla. Sprinkle with some cheese.

Repeat a second layer on top. Bake at 350F. for about 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and filling is heated through. Serve with a delicious creamy spicy-sweet dipping sauce made with sour cream and Miller's Banana pepper Sauce. How easy is that!

The best game day appetizer is a crowd pleasing touchdown. Enjoy! And you might also like my recipe for sweet and spicy candied nuts for your next party.

Looks really good. A challenge would be keeping them warm going from the oven to the parking lot.

Good point. I was thinking most tailgate parties had a grill to keep things warm, but if not enjoy at home watching the game on the big screen.
